1. 为什么会将 “Delta Bridges” 更名为 “DB”?Why change from Delta Bridges to DB?
Delta Bridges是我们在2008年创立的,在过去的9年里,所有事情都在进步和发展:中国在改变,媒体的本质也在改变,而微信的出现更是对我们的生活产生了颠覆性的影响,还有我们的读者群也在进化等。为了更好地切合各大社交媒体平台和我们越来越多的中国读者的需求,现在是简化我们的媒体品牌名称及形象的最佳时候。
Since we started with Delta Bridges in 2008, many things have indeed changed: China changed, the nature of media changed, WeChat was born, our readership evolved etc… We felt that it is was the right time to simplify our media brand name and image in order to make our platform more suitable for social media and more attractive to our ever-growing number of Chinese followers.
2. 更名后,平台的内容会和以前相似吗?Will the content be similar?
Delta Bridges主要是围绕珠三角各大精品生活场所而打造的一个英文向导,为读者推荐最佳衣食住行。DB则是一个侧重于珠三角商务人士采访的双语平台。我们相信现今社会直白的场所介绍未免有些乏味,融入该场所成员的个人观点或理念,非常重要。他/她可以是该场所的普通员工,长期客户,或是店长老板,以他们的角度去诠释这个商业背后的故事和由来会让人对其品牌更加印象深刻。
Delta Bridges was mostly an English guide about the Pearl River Delta, with a “places” directory at its core. DB is bilingual and focuses on business “faces” instead. We believe that today, there is so much information going on, it is important to bring a human side to the content we share. So, rather than to review a particular place, we now interview the people involved with that business (employee, owner etc… ).
3. 你们进行了哪些社交媒体平台的整合?What social media integration have you implemented?
DB主要创新的地方在于它是个完全和微信兼容的平台。当读者从微信中打开我们网站的任意一个页面去浏览时,他将自动通过其微信账号登录DB网站,无需任何额外注册,目前登录后读者可在喜爱的珠三角“面孔”采访下方评论留言。与此同时,文章可极易快速地转发给读者的朋友或转至朋友圈上。
The key innovation for our DB platform is that it is completely WeChat integrated. While visiting a page of our website on WeChat, readers are automatically logged in with their WeChat credentials, which enables them, for now, to leave comments on the interviews they like. It is also fast and easy to share interviews with their friends or on their moments.
4. 商家能在DB的平台上实现自我宣传和推广吗?Can a business promote itself on DB?
当然可以,间接营销仍是营销中的一个主要方式。相比起来,我们相信这是个更加有效的营销技巧。因为在现今时代,我们每人每天都会收到成千上万各色各样的信息资讯,间接营销推送则是最容易受关注和被接受的。
Sure, indirect marketing is still marketing. In fact, we believe, we know it is the most efficient marketing. Because within the huge flow of information we receive everyday, indirect marketing messages are the ones more likely to catch attention.
5. 能跟我们说说“三角铃”吗?Tell us more about San Jiao Ling.
自2013年以来,我们的客户一直希望我们能提供更多公关及策划方面的服务,而在这方面的需求越来越多的情况下三角铃于2015年应运而生,因此三角铃主要提供媒体以外的公关等服务。除了DB是三角铃旗下的一个媒体品牌,珠三角创意创新盛典(DCIC)也是由三角铃运营的南中国屈指可数的商业品牌活动。
Since 2013, our customers have been asking for more and more PR and Marketing related services. So, in 2015 we created a PR firm, San Jiao Ling, in order to provide these services separately from our DB media channel. DB, but also our signature event DCIC, are now both run under San Jiao Ling.
