June 14th, With the help of San Jiao Ling, Hong Kong and Macau Affairs Office of Guangzhou Municipal Government successfully held the Opening Ceremony of Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Hong Kong Youth Internship Program at the Garden Hotel. Representatives from Hong Kong and Macau Affairs Office of the People’s Government of Guangdong Province, Hong Kong and Macau Affairs Office of Guangzhou Municipal Government, mass organizations in Hong Kong, 11 company and 37 university student representatives from Hong Kong attended the ceremony.
Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau Greater Bay Area Hong Kong Youth Internship Program is jointly organized by Hong Kong and Macau Affairs Office of the People’s Government of Guangdong Province, Home Affairs Bureau of the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, and Youth Development Commission. Students participating in the program will be placed into renowned enterprises in Guangzhou, conducting a two-month internship. Since Hong Kong and Macau Affairs Office of Guangzhou Municipal Government undertook the project in 2015, the project has been receiving a positive acknowledgment in Guangzhou and Hong Kong, providing more than 1000 internship positions.
In the following two months, San Jiao Ling will continue to provide the interns with all-round service and support by working closely with Hong Kong and Macau Affairs Office of Guangzhou Municipal Government. With thoughtful arrangement and efficient coordination, participants will be able to display their talents in different fields, thereby acquiring working experience, comprehending corporate cultures and the ways of how mainland enterprises operate. This program may further guide the participants to contemplate their career aspirations.
San Jiao Ling will also organize unique cultural immersion activities on weekends. Through tailor-made travel routes, these activities will allow participants to gain a better understanding of Guangzhou’s history, cultures, and social actuality in no time, thereby broadening their horizons.
