DB: 请问您是从什么时候、怎样开始制作糕点的行业的? When and how did you get into the cake making industry?

我曾担任一家传统葡萄牙餐厅的主厨差不多16年,我对食物的喜爱也因此逐渐加深。7年前,我决定成为一个点心厨师。于是我辞去在餐厅的工作,开始在网上开办属于我自己的蛋糕甜品店。
I have been a chef for Portuguese traditional cuisine for about sixteen years and this is how my love for food started. Seven years ago, I decided to be a pastry chef too and stopped working in restaurants to open my own business of cakes and desserts online.

DB: 请问您的目标客户是谁? Who is your target audience?

我非常喜欢小孩子。为他们做甜品,让我每天的工作、生活都变得很开心。我喜欢看到他们看见蛋糕、吃蛋糕时开心的笑脸。
I love kids so doing cakes for them makes my day and my job a very happy one. I love knowing they will have a great cake and smile when they see it and try it.

DB: 做蛋糕时,您是从哪里获得灵感的? How do you get the inspiration for your cake designs?

我的客户会告诉我他们想要怎样的蛋糕。他们告诉我之后,我会开始思考我要怎么做、蛋糕完成的时候大概是什么样子。但只有当我真正开始做的时候,我的灵感才会来。我常让我的双手跟随我大脑的想象去制作,每次完成一个作品,我也会惊讶,也会非常地开心。
My clients let me know what the theme is they want for their cakes. From that moment, I start thinking about how I am going to do it and what it will look like finished. But my real inspirations only comes in the moment that my hands start doing the decorations. I let my hands take me to the imagination world and when I finish I am happily surprised with my work too.

Hyun Ju Crystal Park: This comment is quite late considering the fact that I have already ordered from Carina three times. Her cakes are detailed, moist and the fondant is to die for. I love her cakes and would recommend it to anyone. The last cake I ordered from her was a Bumblebee (transformer) cake for my 5-year old and he really enjoyed it. DB: 您做过最难设计的蛋糕是什么? What is the most challenging order you have had?

是蜘蛛侠形状的蛋糕。做一个卡通人物需要好几个小时!
Doing Spider-man. It takes a few hours just to do the cartoon man!

DB: 关于蛋糕店,您未来的设想是什么? Where do you hope to see your business in the future?

我几乎每天都做蛋糕。过着这样的生活觉得非常开心。我希望以后蛋糕的预定都会爆满!
I do cakes almost every day, so I am happy with my business at this moment. I wish for the future to be full of orders too.
