当我们面对同样的事物时，我们看到的一定是一样的吗？中国人到德国，或是德国人在中国，他们是否期望会看到一个完全不一样的世界？
When we face the same thing, do we all see the same? Can Chinese coming to Germany, or Germans to China, expect to see another world? Or will they, on a second look, discover the same scenes as in their own country?
5月30日，由德国驻广州总领事馆、南越王宫博物馆联合主办的《德国故事·中国故事》摄影作品展在南越王宫博物馆正式开幕。
On 30th May, “Germany Story · China Story” Photography Exhibition opens to public at the Archaeological Site Museum of Nanyue Palace, organized by the Consulate General of Federal Republic of Germany Guangzhou and the Archaeological Site Museum of Nanyue Palace.
摄影艺术家赵辉在德国拍摄了成千上万张照片，他拍德国的城市和乡村，历史遗迹和自然风景，但他的相机镜头更多是在捕捉德国百姓的日常生活。然后，他将这些照片与在中国拍摄的照片进行了巧妙的匹配。《德国故事·中国故事》的文化比较篇就是这众多作品中的一小部分。
Photographer Steve Zhao has shot thousands, if not ten thousands of photos in Germany alone. He photographed German cities and villages, historical sites and natural scenery, yet the curiosity of his camera lens was mostly directed to the everyday life of ordinary people. After that, he matched selected shots with photos taken in China. Photography exhibition “Germany Story, China Story” displays a small part of these works, with a focus on cultural comparison.
在这个展览里，你会看到许多意想不到的，令人感动的人物和场景。我们看到一位柏林的爷爷去学校接他的孙子; 南京的爷爷送他的孙子去幼儿园; 一位科隆的邮差骑自行车送信，一名苏州的邮差骑电瓶车送信; 我们看到汉堡和上海的环卫工人; 法兰克福快餐店和海口快餐店的女服务员; 我们看到面包店里的人们，水果市场上的人们，理发店里，早餐车旁的人们…… 德中两国的历史，文化和社会体系虽然非常不同， 但是两国人民的日常生活竟有着如此多的相似之处。
Audiences will find many unexpected, often moving parallels of characters and scenes. We see here a grandpa in Berlin picking up his grandson from school, and a grandpa in Nanjing walking his grandchild to kindergarten; a postman in Cologne on his bicycle and a postman in Suzhou on his e-bike; sanitation workers in Hamburg and in Shanghai; waitresses of a fast food restaurant in Frankfurt and in Haikou; we see people in the bakery, on the fruit market, at the barber’s shop, next to the breakfast trolley and in many more situations. Although the history, culture and social systems of Germany and China are quite distant, the daily lives of the two people are strikingly close.
