The 2nd Sino Asia-Pacific Medical Forum and the launch of the Gusi Peace Prize International saw Macau’s doctors lead the way networking with various international voices. Among them were Soka Gakkai International Vice President, Hiromasa Ikeda, son of the Honorable Daisaku Ikeda.
Mr. Ikeda met with Prof. Manson Fok at the Gusi Peace Prize International in Manila for a few private words of peace and harmony..
Dr. Billy Chan, Director of the Center of Excellence for Medical Professional Development and Executive Assistant to the Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences at the Macau University of Science and Technology (MUST), in his capacity as vice-president of the Gusi Peace Prize International, also greeted St. Kitts and Nevis Prime Minister Timothy Harris.
Dr. Jiang Baoguo, president of Peking University Hospital in Beijing, won a Gusi for his work with traffic and trauma medicine.
Tonight the award ceremony of the 2016 Gusi Laureates will take place in Manila. Prof. Manson Fok was sworn in Monday night as the President of the Gusi Peace Prize International. Dr. Billy Chan is the current Vice=President of the Gusi Peace Prize International. Both Prof. Fok and Dr. Chan have worked tirelessly for the past five years in Macau for medical peace.
