2020年11月20日至24日,波尔多特级酒庄联合会(Union des Grands Crus de Bordeaux,简称UGCB)延续历年来的专业精神,携12个产区,70余家酒庄,近百款2017年份高品质佳酿来到中国,为北京、上海、广州超过3000名专业人士及媒体呈现了三场精彩绝伦的葡萄酒盛宴。在疫情后经济复苏的关键时期再次展现了波尔多特级葡萄酒在中国市场的巨大潜力。
From 20th to 24th November, the Union des Grands Crus de Bordeaux (UGCB) continued its professionalism over the years, bringing 12 Bordeaux wine regions, more than 70 wineries, and nearly 100 High-quality 2017 vintage wines came to China and presented three wonderful wine tasting & promotion events for more than 3,000 professionals and media in Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou. In this critical period of economic recovery after the epidemic, UGCB has demonstrated the great potential of Bordeaux Grand Wines in the Chinese market.

The continuous development of the Grand Crus of Bordeaux originates from centuries of classic heritage and pioneering innovation that keeps pace with the times. With the rapid development of digital marketing in China and the rise of the younger generation in the Chinese wine consumer market, UGCB has accelerated the process of digital strategy while maintaining the traditional offline promotion and service methods.
今年每个城市的品鉴会由以往下午2个场次增加为全天3个场次。更加灵活的时间选择,更加科学细致的现场人流量控制,让每一位来宾收获了专业难忘的品鉴体验。此次因为疫情,酒庄代表无法亲临现场与中国的专业人士面对面沟通,他们特意录制了视频。来宾通过扫描现场二维码,查看酒庄代表的视频与酒庄图文资料,参与有奖问答,并在活动结束后运用线上方式与酒庄、贸易商沟通洽谈。通过数字化方式,确保了各方商业合作的顺利进行以及特级葡萄酒市场的平稳有序。
The tasting sessions in each city this year have increased from 2 sessions in the afternoon to 3 sessions throughout the day. More flexible time selection, more scientific and meticulous on-site visit control, have ensured every guest with a professional and unforgettable tasting experience. This time because of the epidemic, the winery representatives could not come to the scene to communicate face-to-face with Chinese professionals. Video recording, QR code access to video of the winery representatives and the winery graphic materials, participation in the prize-winning Q&A, and other online methods are used to bridge the winery and audience during the event.
今年的巡展,每个城市还开设了一场大师班,以便深入讲解波尔多各产区的风貌,使来宾更为立体地了解2017年份波尔多特级葡萄酒的风采。大师班皆国内知名波尔多认证讲师主讲。在大师班开场,波尔多特级酒庄联合会主席 Ronan Laborde 通过视频和现场专业人士进行了连线,为大家介绍了波尔多特级酒庄联合会2020年的亚洲推广计划,以及对中国市场的期待。为了使来宾身临其境感受产区风土,深度认知酒款,今年的大师班特别新增了酒庄连线环节。每场大师班通过现场与4家不同酒庄代表视频连线,实现了中法联动。中国的专业人士与特级酒庄代表一道,探索各个子产区的特点,共同品鉴2017年份的美酒,分享彼此对波尔多特级葡萄酒的热情与感想。
In this year’s China tour, each city held a master class to explain in depth the features of Bordeaux’s various production areas, so that guests can have a comprehensive understanding of the 2017 vintage Bordeaux wines. The master classes are delivered by well-known Bordeaux certified lecturers in China. At the opening of each master class, Mr. Ronan Laborde, chairman of UGCB, connected with on-site professionals through online conferencing, and introduced UGCB’s Asia promotion plan in 2020 and its expectations for the Chinese market. In order to enable guests to experience the terroir of the producing area and have a deep understanding of wines, this year’s master class has added an online connection with winery representatives. Chinese professionals and representatives of the Grand Cru winery explored the characteristics of each region, tasted the 2017 vintage wines, and shared their enthusiasm and thoughts about Bordeaux Grand Cru wines.

波尔多特级酒庄联合会成立于1973年,目前拥有131个来自波尔多法定产区著名的顶级酒庄成员。秉着资源共享和宴饮社交的创办精神,波尔多特级酒庄联合会如今已不仅限于进行商业推广,还是一个以葡萄酒为中心的法国文化大使,把法国葡萄酒文化传播到世界各地。
UGCB was established in 1973 and currently has 131 members from the famous and top wineries in Bordeaux. With the founding spirit of resource sharing, communication and socializing, UGCB is not limited to commercial promotion. It is also a wine-centric French cultural ambassador, promoting French wine culture to all over the world.
自2000年以来,每年的11月下旬,都是波尔多特级酒庄联合会来中国推广的时刻。今年是波尔多特级酒庄联合会来华推广的第20年。凭借着得天独厚的风土、高品质种植酿造、专业化运营、持续20年深耕中国市场,波尔多特级酒庄已占据中国消费者在高端葡萄酒领域的心智。中国已连续多年成为波尔多特级葡萄酒全球最大的市场。中国每年的波尔多特级葡萄酒进口额约为3.2-4亿欧元,约占其出口额的30%。
Since year 2000, November has been the time for UGCB to promote in China. This year marks the 20th year of UGCB’s promotion in China. With its unique terroir, high-quality planting and brewing, professional operation, and continuous 20 years of deep cultivation in the Chinese market, Bordeaux grand cru winery has successfully reached to a majority of Chinese consumers in the high-end wine field. China has been the world’s largest market for Bordeaux premium wines for many years. China’s annual Bordeaux premium wine imports are about 320-400 million euros, accounting for about 30% of its exports.

In the current rapidly changing and fiercely competitive global market, UGCB has taken a more active attitude and invested heavily in the revival of the wine industry, focusing on the Chinese market in an environment full of challenges and pressures. The 2017 vintage exhibition in 2020 China Tour, and the 2019 vintage wine week in June this year in Shanghai and Hong Kong are the result of the joint efforts and innovation of the members of UGCB. The positive attempt to face the challenge is a manifestation of their attention to the Chinese market and seeking common development with Chinese professionals.

2017年份:一个充满朝气和奇迹的年份 | A Promising and Amazing Vintage – 2017
2017年份可以说是一个充满朝气和奇迹的年份。首先,它的与众不同在于4月底到来的晚霜,葡萄树上已经萌发的芽被破坏,导致损失了近40%的葡萄收成。有的葡萄园部分甚至全部被毁,有的葡萄园则完全幸免于难。
The 2017 vintage can be said to be a year full of vigor and miracle. First of all, it is unique in the spring frost that arrives at the end of April and destroyed the buds that have sprouted on the vine, resulting in the loss of nearly 40% of the grape harvest. Some vineyards were partially or completely destroyed, and some vineyards were completely spared.
但4月之后的天气条件良好,5月平和而炎热的气候条件,迎来了一个非常好的花期,夏天干燥但没有过于炎热,于8月底9月初采摘的白葡萄得到了出色的香气新鲜度。9月,雨水和阳光的交替使红葡萄品种的成熟度达到了极致,尤其是赤霞珠和美乐,其酒精和单宁浓缩度比之前的2015年和2016年两个年份更为温和。
However, the weather conditions after April were good, and the mild and hot weather conditions in May ushered in a very good flowering period. The summer was dry but not too hot. The white grapes picked at the end of August and early September had excellent aroma and freshness. In September, the alternation of rain and sunlight made the ripeness of red grape varieties reach the extreme, especially Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, whose alcohol and tannin concentration were milder than the previous two vintages of 2015 and 2016.

Dry white wines: The dry white wines of Graves and Pessac-Léognan are stunning, very rich, noble and balanced.

Vin doux and Liquoreux: full-bodied, strong, showing excellent flavor.
红葡萄酒:对于来自梅多克、格拉夫和右岸的红葡萄酒,可以感受到她们细腻的单宁、甜美的果香,以及无需等待太久就非常适饮的特性。
Red wines: For the red wines from Médoc, Graves and the Right Bank, you can feel their delicate tannins, sweet fruity aroma, and the characteristics of being very suitable for drinking without waiting too long.
