With Christmas coming up next month, Mandarin Oriental, Guangzhou  will be delighting guests with traditional Christmas decorations and music throughout the hotel as well as Christmas hampers and classic desserts such as Chocolate Santa Claus or Christmas tree, gingerbread house and holiday cakes at The Mandarin Cake Shop. In addition, the top culinary team will also serve up a sumptuous feast to please both the eye and the palate at Ebony for families and friends to enjoy.

As in Christmases past, the hotel announced its annual charity event during the Christmas tree lighting ceremony on Friday, 1 December 2017, from 7pm to 7:30pm. Continuously for the third year, Mandarin Oriental, Guangzhou will work with Wilber Foundation for the “wishing tree” project, which supports children suffering from critical illnesses.  A specially designed donation envelope will be placed in all guestrooms and at the hotel lobby through 31 December. Guests are cordially invited to contribute to this worthy cause and help fulfil these children’s wishes.

In December, the hotel’s restaurants and bars will take on a festive theme with special menus and creations inspired by the season. Guests can enjoy the festive afternoon tea at The TaiKoo Lounge from now to 31 December 2017. On Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, Executive Chef Jonny Shea and his team will prepare a sumptuous festive buffet dinner at Ebony from 6pm to 10:30pm, priced at CNY 788* per person or CNY 1,168* per person including free flow of Moet & Chandon Champagne or CNY 2,658* per person including one bottle of Dom Perignon, Vintage 2008 plus free flow of Moet & Chandon Champagne, house wines, beer and soft drinks.  *All prices are subject to 15% service charge. To bid farewell to 2017 and usher in 2018, besides a fantastic New Year’s Eve dinner buffet at Ebony, The Loft will also offer guests New Year’s Eve hand-rolled cigars and an exciting alcoholic beverage promotion.
