– Kanpai welcomes its two new branches at K11 Guangzhou and MixC Shenzhen
The Michelin starred restaurant brand “Kanpai” opens two new branches in South China, offering high quality yakiniku and izakaya dining experience to foodies in Guangzhou and Shenzhen. The news restaurants are located at K11 Guangzhou and MixC Shenzhen, with both locations are at most vibrant area and the heart of the city.
Kanpai K11 Guangzhou features two themes: 1) A clock tower at the centre of the restaurant to create a meeting point feeling of a train station, where friends meet and gather; 2) Japanese lanterns can be seen everywhere to create a festive feeling, adding more fun to your dining experience.
Kanpai Classic MixC Shenzhen is the third new branch of very first Kanpai Classic in Shenzhen, of which Kanpai Classic Ping An Financial Centre branch was selected into the Black Pearl Restaurant Guide. The interior design of the new Kanpai Classic comes from the same Japanese designer Hiroki, blending a modern style with the Japanese style. More private and luxurious rooms have been added to make comfort to your dining experience.
The “Kanpai Yakiniku Izakaya Restaurant” is the starting point of the Kanpai Group. In 1999, an international student from Japan named Soji Hiraide acquired a friend’s restaurant. With the help of many fellow classmates and good friends, the future chairman of the Kanpai Group kept the restaurant afloat through those difficult early years. Over time, Kanpai gradually developed activities such as its signature “Kissing Karubi” and “8 o’clock Kanpai” events. These not only let people experience the festive atmosphere and emotionally touching experience unique to Kanpai yakiniku izakaya restaurant but also created a distinctively Taiwanese yakiniku culture.

What matters even more than specialty activities is that Kanpai insistence on great-tasting ingredients. Unlike all-you-can-eat yakiniku restaurants, Kanpai insists on three things: 1. Only “grain-fed high-quality beef” is used; 2. “cold chain delivery” from farm-to-table; 3. Use of “aged beef” in pursuit of beef’s true flavor! Fresh, chilled, imported beef is grilled to perfection and served with home-made kimchi. Now top it off with a mouthful of glistening Koshihikari rice grown in Taiwan. Kanpai’s super-popular draft beer goes perfectly with yakiniku. The beer is shipped from the Brewery to store through cold chain distribution.
