11月29日,粤港澳(佛山)国际会展产业高峰论坛暨潭洲国际会展中心两周年推广活动在潭洲国际会展中心举办,主题为“以产业为引擎推动粤港澳大湾区产业会展融合创新发展”。
On November 29, Greater Bay (Foshan) International Convention & Exhibition Industry Summit and GICEC 2nd Anniversary was held at GICEC. The theme of event was “Taking the industries as an engine to promote the integrated and innovative development of industries and exhibitions in the Greater Bay Area”.

With The initiative of “Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau Greater Bay Area (GBA)” being introduced, cities in this area are trying to integrate resources and properly position themselves in this rising world class city cluster. Exhibition industry in Bay Area continues to maintain a good momentum of growth. Trading in this area is expanding and stimulates the economic development. The event lived up to its reputation and brought together numerous elites from different industries to study the case of GICEC. The discussion was on the methods of accelerating the development of Foshan Three-dragon Bay High-end Innovation Cluster by modern exhibition industry on the occasion of the 40th anniversary of reform and opening up. Based on the advantageous industries, the model integrating industry and exhibition helps to promote the transformation of regional economic structure, improve the efficiency of social operation, and make new contributions to the development of service trade and business service industry.

Beginning with discussing about the national status, the prospects and the development of exhibition industry itself in Greater Bay Area, the organizers, Guangdong Tanzhou International Convention and Exhibition Co., Ltd. and Foshan Sino-German Robotation Academy Co., Ltd., hoped to analyze with the elites from different walks of life the development trend of Foshan’s exhibition industry which is led by GICEC, China’s exhibition industry as well as Greater Bay Area as a whole, at the macroscopic level.

After internal meetings to discuss ways of improvement based on the customer’s requirements, San Jiao Ling had the agenda confirmed that the event consisted of Opening Ceremony (including unveiling ceremony, signing ceremony and speeches) , City Tour, Industrial Exhibition and Event Matchmaking Meeting, Keynote Speech, Tanzhou Talks and GICEC 2ndAnniversary Gala Dinner. Tea Break was also provided outside the meeting spot. San Jiao Ling put details and innovation as priority, wishing to create positive atmosphere, to make the event a social platform for networking, exchanging ideas and making plans. Preparation for this event was well arranged and was divided into stage, conference, and media relations. In terms of stage and conference, several rehearsals took place to make sure the lighting and sound effect were perfect and the transitions on stage were going smoothly. In addition to simple but delicate tea break, gala dinner was the highlight of this event. Fantastic performance was provided on stage when the participants were enjoying the typical Cantonese banquet. Considering GICEC is situated in Foshan, the birthplace of Lingnan Culture, traditional Lion Dance and Wing Chun performance are indispensable. GICEC is also a professional platform with international networking, so San Jiao Ling decided to build a holographic projection stage with clear and vivid images. The performance become more dynamic and engaging as video objects appear to be floating in space in volumetric 3D, allowing the audience to interact with these 3D objects and having them experience the virtual reality on site. The feature of a lion was portraited inclusively and graphically, revealing its power and drunkenness. A Latin Band was also invited. It was fantastic to take a sip of cocktail while the music was around.
